In fact, the Northend includes dozens of parks for your outdoor enjoyment including Hyde Park, the premiere Northend park. You will find activities for every outdoorsman at the Northend parks. Some of Boise’s favorite parks in Northend include Camels Back Park, home to the Hyde Park Street Fair, which features playground, tennis courts, and access to Boise Foothills and Hulls Gulch.

Another favorite is Bernadine Quinn Park that features a paddling pond next to the Boise River. Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats are available for rent nearby to enjoy their beautiful, nature park. If you want to see some history while visiting a park, you can try Dewey Park located at 2150 N 15th St., Boise, Idaho, which features Oregon Trail obelisk that marks the trail route. You can also find another Park to take a rest along your site seeing adventure at  McAuley Park.

Shopping

If shopping is what you are looking for, you will find the area rich in high-end shops and boutiques to local small businesses and home-based businesses.  You will find over 150 shops in the Northend district.
